Global Education Fund Honor Roll

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is one of the top public universities in the nation, and to remain competitive, it must keep up with a rapidly changing world. Students today need to acquire a broad array of skills, shaped with a global perspective, to be successful. In order to fulfill this obligation to its students, Carolina must strengthen its international programs and courses, expand research on cutting-edge global issues, engage in increased collaborations with international scholars and institutions, and help North Carolina and its citizens become more internationally engaged in -- and beneficiaries of -- the new global economy.

The Global Education Campaign is the first major fundraising initiative to provide support for Carolina’s growing international priorities. Through the generous support of alumni, parents and friends, private gifts make possible UNC’s mission to serve the state of North Carolina, the nation and the world.

One component of the campaign is the new unrestricted Global Education Fund. Supporting both the Office of International Affairs and the College of Arts & Sciences, annual gifts to the Global Education Fund will give University leaders the flexibility to provide essential financial assistance to UNC students, faculty and programs involved in Carolina’s strategic international priorities. Contributions of all levels are important, and gifts can be made online.
